You made some great information there. I did a searching on the subject and found plenty of people should agree with your blog.
Those are actually impression copings for implants and are used to take impressions of the teeth so that the laboratory that fabricates the crowns knows the direction of the implant in bone and can design and fabricate the final crown off of it so that the person’s final bite is as close to ideal (for their mouth) as possible. This person is probably getting an implant-supported partial denture to replace the bottom teeth, and is for sure getting an implant for the top tooth.

At first I thought they looked like spent .22 cal shells that some one stuck in there. But they looked too clean, so I wondered if they were posts for implants, but they looked too big for that. Thanks for the explanation, Doc!
